The winners of the Barcelona Beer Challenge, Basqueland, and Birra dell’Anno, Ritual Lab, have teamed up to create an Imperial Stout that captures the essence of traditional talo with chocolate.
The beer starts with a base of six malts, featuring chocolate malts and cornflakes. The addition of cacao during the whirlpool adds a smooth, melting texture to the beer, while in the final stage, more chocolate and sea salt are added, delivering a full-bodied mouthfeel.
A tribute to the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and the richness of simple ingredients, transformed into something sublime.
